Eiopa stakeholder groups revealed

The European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority has unveiled the members of two high-level industry stakeholder groups.
The Insurance and Reinsurance Stakeholder Group and Occupational Pensions Stakeholder Group will be expected to offer advice on Eiopa's work.
Consisting of representatives of companies, consumer groups, trade bodies and academics, both stakeholder groups number 30 members each.
They are expected to have their first meeting at the beginning of the second quarter of 2011, with meetings required at least four times a year.
Prominent industry representatives in the Insurance and Reinsurance Stakeholder Group include Oliver Bäte, a member of the management board of Allianz, and Pilar Gonzalez de Frutos, president of the association of Spanish insurers.
They are joined by think tank Centre for European Policy Studies' senior research fellow Rym Ayadi along with German Professor Maria Heep-Altiner, among others.
Those included in the Occupational Pensions Stakeholder Group include Gábor Borza, a member of the board of Stability Pension Fund Association, and Gunnar Andersson, a former managing director at KP Pension and Försäkring.
